This week sees the start of Wimbledon, will Andy Murry collect the silverware or is it going to be another summer of disappointment? Either way to celebrate Wimbledon we have commissioned our own wild strawberry and clotted cream ice cream available throughout all our Inns during Wimbledon so call in and let us serve you a portion.
Our ever popular murder mystery evenings return this month as we welcome you to the Cafe René let Madam Edith entertain you with her voice, while we try to hide the two British airmen and the fallen Madonna, in a evening full of twists and turns one thing can be guaranteed, great food and hospitality.
World cup fever is sweeping the nation as we try to cheer on a disheartened England, where better to enjoy the whole match day experience than at The Plough, Sean and Chris have teamed up with special drinks offers for the matches and Head Chef Julie Rigby has created an imaginative menu to reflect the spirit of the world cup so join us as it's the closest thing to being in South Africa. Plus check out our beer garden, probably the best beer garden in the area!
